What is Autism?
Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) is a neurodevelopmental difference that affects how individuals communicate, process information, and interact with the world around them. Autism exists on a spectrum, meaning it presents differently in every individual and can change across different stages of life.
The way autism presents can be influenced by factors such as stress, environment, sensory demands, and developmental transitions. As a result, individuals with ASC may experience challenges in the classroom, at home, or in social settings. This is why personalised strategies and tailored support are essential to help individuals thrive.
Our autism assessments support parents, schools, young people, and adults in identifying effective strategies that meet individual needs. We also aim to empower individuals by increasing self-understanding and recognising the valuable strengths that neurodiversity brings.
We recognise that autism frequently overlaps with other conditions. As part of our comprehensive assessment process, we also screen for ADHD, mental health needs, sensory processing differences, emotional regulation, and language development. These insights are included in our detailed reports, alongside clear, practical recommendations to guide the most effective support strategies across home, education, and everyday life.
What will this give me?

Fees and Structure for Autism Assessment
Our Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) assessment follows a clear three-stage pathway using gold-standard tools, including the ADI-R and ADOS-2. We take a holistic, person-centred approach, considering developmental history, current presentation, and input from family and professionals.
Each stage is charged separately to ensure fairness and transparency. Families only progress — and pay — for stages that are clinically appropriate, avoiding unnecessary costs where a full assessment is not indicated.
Stage 1: Initial Screening & Questionnaires
£150 – An initial appointment to explore concerns, explain the process, and review screening questionnaires to determine whether a full assessment is recommended.
Stage 2: Developmental History Interview (ADI-R)
£900 – A detailed developmental history, completed with a parent or caregiver, with additional professional input where helpful.
Stage 3: Observation, Diagnosis & Feedback (ADOS-2)
£1,050 – A structured observation, multidisciplinary diagnostic review, feedback session, and comprehensive report with clear outcomes and personalised recommendations.
Total cost for full ASC assessment (all stages): £2,100
Combined ADHD and ASC assessment
Our combined ASC and ADHD assessment follows the same three-stage pathway.
Stage 1: Initial Screening & Questionnaires
£150 – A confidential screening appointment with a senior clinician to explore current concerns and complete screening questionnaires. This stage determines whether a full combined assessment is recommended.
Stage 2: Developmental History Interview
£1,350 – A detailed developmental and behavioural history to identify lifelong patterns across settings, including:
ADI-R (autism)
Young DIVA-5 or DIVA-5 (ADHD, age dependent)
Additional input from caregivers, educators, or professionals included where appropriate.
Stage 3: Assessment, Diagnosis & Feedback
£1,700 – A comprehensive evaluation combining observation, cognitive and behavioural assessment, and diagnostic tools including ADOS-2, QbCheck, and ADHD questionnaires (Conners or ASRS). This includes MDT review, a feedback session, and a detailed diagnostic report with personalised recommendations.
Total cost for full combined ASC & ADHD assessment (all stages): £3,200
