Directors

Lucy White Director & Occupational Therapist

I’ve worked across both the NHS and private sector for more than 15 years, gaining broad experience in mental health, physical disabilities, learning disabilities and special educational needs. Over that time, I’ve learned that every person, child or adult, deserves support that truly understands who they are and what matters most to them.

As a parent to my son, Logan, who we’re currently advocating for as part of his EHCP journey, I know firsthand how challenging and emotional the process can be. That experience has deepened my empathy for the families I work with. I completely understand the exhaustion, the fight, and the moments of hope that come with trying to get the right support in place for your child.

I have a strong interest in sensory-based interventions and strategies, which I use across a range of settings to help individuals develop independence, confidence, and a better quality of life.

In addition to my therapy work, I’m a director at Base Minds Ltd, a specialist clinic providing assessments for Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). I’m trained in both the ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) and the ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised), allowing me to contribute to detailed, multi-disciplinary assessments that support accurate diagnosis and meaningful recommendations.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: everyone deserves the chance to live a life that feels fulfilling and true to them. Whether I’m working with a child, a family, or an adult, I’m committed to providing compassionate, person-centred care that recognises the whole person, not just the diagnosis and helps them thrive in their own way.

Lucinda Williams Director & Occupational Therapist

I have over 5 years of experience working with the paediatric population—delivering assessments and interventions, contributing to multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and reviews, and collaborating closely with schools to embed both universal and targeted Occupational Therapy approaches. I'm currently advancing my practice through postgraduate training in Sensory Integration, a field I’m particularly passionate about.

In addition to my work in schools and clinics, I am ADOS-trained and work as an ADOS assessor at Base Minds Ltd, a specialist clinic providing diagnostic assessments for ASC and ADHD. In this role, I contribute to multi-disciplinary assessments, helping to ensure accurate, thorough, and person-centred diagnostic outcomes.

I’m driven by the belief that therapy should be functional, fun, accessible, and empowering—whether it’s delivered in a classroom, clinic, or community setting.

Team

Nikki
Administrator and SEND Advocate
I am a qualified teacher who changed career when the needs of my own children with special educational needs required my full attention. Through this journey, I experienced first-hand the complexities of the SEND system and the critical importance of informed, effective advocacy. This led me to complete all levels of the IPSEA SEND Law training and formally move into SEND advocacy.

I bring both professional experience and lived understanding to my role, supporting parents and carers to understand their legal rights, navigate EHCP processes, and feel confident and informed at every stage. My work focuses on ensuring that children and young people receive appropriate, lawful, and meaningful provision to meet their needs.

Dr Lisa Clinical Psychologist

I am a qualified Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working across mental health services, working with both adults and young people who present with a wide range of mental health, neurodevelopmental, and physical needs. I have worked in a wide range of settings, including adult mental health, CAMHS, physical health services, and specialist teams.
I have a particular interest in neurodiversity, and how these can present differently across the lifespan. I am especially mindful of how neurodivergence can be missed or misunderstood in girls and women, and those with co-occurring mental or physical health difficulties.
I am committed to offering person-centred care, with thorough, compassionate and collaborative assessments, aiming to help individuals make sense of their experiences in a way that feels validating, clear, and supportive.

She often supports parents and other family members who, through the therapeutic process, discover their own neurodivergence. As a mum of two neurodivergent daughters, Amy brings both professional expertise and a personal understanding of the challenges and rewards of navigating these journeys.
